As a noun, a ghost is 'an apparition of a dead person which is believed to appear or become manifest to the living, typically as a nebulous image.' Or in folklore, a ghost is 'the soul or spirit of a dead person or animal that can appear to the living.'
With this in mind, the descriptions of ghosts vary widely from an invisible presence to translucent or barely visible wispy shapes, to realistic, lifelike visions.
WHAT IS A UFO?
A UFO, or 'Unidentified Flying Object,' is a mysterious object seen in the sky for which no orthodox scientific explanation can be found and is often supposed to be a vehicle carrying extraterrestrials.
However, most UFOs are later identified as conventional objects or phenomena.
WHAT IS A CRYPTID?
A cryptid is an obscure or undocumented creature, typically originating from folklore or mythology. Cryptids are no necessarily supernatural, and their existence is only recognized as pseudoscience.
Some examples of popular cryptids are 'The Yeti', 'The Mothman', 'Bigfoot' and 'The Loch Ness Monster.'

Some common occurrences of demons are in possessions and subsequent exorcisms. Descriptions of demonic possessions often include erased memories or personalities, convulsions and fainting as if one were dying.
